Poe & Cronk Announces Sale of Former Johnson & Johnson Airport Road Facility
Carilion Consolidated Laboratory will be the new occupant
ROANOKE, VA - April 21, 2006 - Poe & Cronk Real Estate Group today announced the sale of the former Johnson & Johnson Spectacle Lens Group facility to Carilion Consolidated Laboratory, according to Dennis Cronk, the broker responsible for the sale. The 6.4 Acre site located at 5568 Airport Road in the City of Roanoke sold for $3,330,000. Poe & Cronk handled the original lease to Innotech, Incorporated and later the expansion for Johnson & Johnson as the result of their purchase of the company. The 60,000 square foot facility served as the firm's corporate headquarters in addition to manufacturing, research and development.
